Swanalitos and scams
We left early to get out of the heat. We had three campgrounds to choose from, one that probably didn't exist, one that was out of the way, and the last was 32 miles away. In the middle of the day, about 14 miles in, we stopped at a bakery-
Lyle got his favorite chausson de pomme of the trip-
I got a sandwich and an odd dipped chocolate brownie thing-
After that we kept on biking and met up with some Romanians who we trailed for a bit and eventually broke off at a bridge where we decided with only a few tears to go to the far one because the small one didn't exist. On the bridge, we saw some baby swans, or swanalitos. So we went to the campground next to a canal, on dirt, with a bamboo thing at one point over the whole trail, covered by flowers and leaves. We got to the campground at 130, and they opened at 3.
We ate a very good supper of rice and lentils and now butter cookies.
And that's it.
